“Hello…”
My name is Emma Kisby and I live in Maidenhead Berkshire with my husband Darrel and my ten year old daughter (Eva) and twenty two year old son (Kyle). Not forgetting my Birman, Millie. So life is pretty manic – to the point where I’m starting to see grey hairs and the beauty regime is taken to another level..
My first passion is writing which is something I’ve always loved from being at school. Blogging wasn’t a thing back then but I studied Media, English and Creative Writing and had some work experience in journalism. But I changed direction and worked in healthcare, whilst juggling to be a single mum in my twenties.
After I met my (now) husband, I learned some new skills and moved into the blogging world. I also dabbled in a bit of freelancing over the years writing articles. But I kept the day job working in Learning and Development, training in a large healthcare company. Things got pretty busy when I had Eva at the end of 2014 – but a few years later I ditched the 9-5 to focus on All She Loves as well as a unique blogzine style directory packed full of events and activities too for the Maidenhead and surrounding area called Face2Face Maidenhead!
So what do I blog about? The things going on in life – anything to do with the kids or my ideas. I review things I like. I’m an average person who wears high street clothes (some even eBay bargains), I shop at budget supermarkets and my makeup isn’t high end. But I have tips and advice to look and feel good. Creative ideas, making stuff with the kids and getting out doing activities.
I share my thoughts and opinions, show you my easy recipes and blog about my experiences.
